Anne Heche

2004 Emmy Nominated: Supporting Actress, gracie's choice

Anne started acting in dinner theater when she was 12, and by the time she was 15 she was already turning down roles in order to finish high school. As soon as she graduated, though, she accepted the role she was offered on "Another World" playing opposite herself as a set of twins (one good and one evil, of course). She even went on to win a Daytime Emmy award in 1991. Eight years later she was quoted as saying that she planned to marry longtime sweetheart Ellen DeGeneres if and when Vermont legalized same-sex marriages, but has since - and very publicly - split from Ellen and became engaged to cameraman Coley Lafoon.

Anne Heche is nominated for 2004's Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Mini Series or Movie for her role on Lifetime's "Gracie's Choice."
