It's hard to believe that this actor, so famous and convincing at portraying New York City natives, was actually born in Australia. He eventually moved to Los Angeles where, after time spent as a teacher, he landing his first film role in 1989 in "Slaves of New York."
Anthony Lapaglia is nominated for 2004's Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series for his role on CBS's "Without a Trace."
