Ben Shenkman received his Masters of Fine Arts degree from
New York University in 1992, and soon afterwards he launched his acting
career. At first he divided his time between regional theater, film, and
television work. He made his TV debut in 1993 in an episode of Law &
Order, and in 1994 appeared on the big screen for the first time with
a small role in Robert Redford's film Quiz Show.
His co-stars Al Pacino,
Emma Thompson, Meryl Streep,
Patrick Wilson, Justin
Kirk , Jeffrey Wright
and Mary-Louise Parker
are all also nominated.
Ben is nominated for 2004's Supporting Actor In A Mini Series or Movie for his role on HBO's "Angels in America."
