Bonnie Hunt

2004 Emmy Nominated: Lead Actress, Life With Bonnie

Like so many other stars, Bonnie didn't start out as an actress; but unlike many stars, she started out as a nurse in a cancer ward at North Western Memorial Hospital in Chicago. In the mid-80s, along with friends Joan Cusack and Holly Wortell, she founded the improv comedy troupe "An Impulsive Thing," and were regular performers at Bob's Bar in Wrigleyville, Chicago. Bonnie is a testament to perseverance, after starring in several fated TV shows such as "Grand" (1990), "Davis Rules" (1991 - 1992), and "the Bonnie Hunt Show" (1995 - 1996).

Bonnie Hunt is nominated for 2004's Outstanding Lead Actress for her role on the TV Series "Life With Bonnie".
