Cheryl Hines

2003 Emmy Nominated: Supporting Actress, Curb Your Enthusiasm

A talented performer of stage and screen whose quick, on-the-fly wit made her the perfect candidate for a role Curb Your Enthusiasm, actress Cheryl Hines first found her comic footing as a member of the famed Groundlings troupe before making the leap to the screen in the mid- to late '90s. Though the Florida native would study theater, radio, and television at Florida State University, a move to Los Angeles found her discovering a natural talent for improvisational theater.

Hines would continue to refine her comedic skills while gaining exposure on such popular television series as Suddenly Susan and Friends, though it was her Emmy-nominated performance as bemused comic Larry David's spoiled wife on Curb Your Enthusiasm that truly made her a recognizable face on the small screen. Before making the leap to features with a supporting role in the 2004 comedy Along Came Polly, Hines continued to amuse on television with bit parts in Everybody Loves Raymond, Ask Rita, and Reno 911! Hines then lended her voice for the role of a mother tiger on the animated television series Father of the Pride.

Cheryl Hines is nominated for 2003's Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on "Curb Your Enthusiasm".
