2006 Emmy Nominated: Lead Actress, Bleak House

Gillian Anderson is an Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award actress best known for her role as FBI Agent Dana Scully in The "X-Files" alongside David Duchovny. Anderson is nominated for her role as Lady Dedlock in BBC's TV series Bleak House. Anderson attended the Goodman Theater School of Drama at DePaul University where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts before going to the National Theatre of Great Britain at Cornell.

Gillian Anderson is nominated for 2006's Outstanding Lead Actress In A Mini Series Or A Movie for her role in PBS's "Bleak House."
