Jason Bateman

2005 Emmy Nominated: Lead Actor, Arrested Development

Jason Bateman was born on 14 January 1969 in Rye, New York. He accompanied a childhood friend to an audition at the age of ten, but when they got there the director asked him to audition for the lead part. He became the Screen Actors Guild's youngest director, when at the tender age of 18 he directed three episodes of "The Hogan Family." He's appeared in such films as "Teen Wolf Too" and "Necessary Roughness."

He is nominated for 2005's Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series for his role of Michael Bluth in FOX's "Arrested Development."
