2004 Emmy Nominated: Lead Actress, Friends

2003 Emmy Nominated: Lead Actress, Friends

Jennifer didn't start out as the media princess she has become: after graduating from the New York High School of the Performing Arts, and brief stints in off-Broadway plays such as "Dancing on Checkers' Grave," she went on to appear in a series of lackluster projects. She landed roles in fated TV shows such as "Molloy" and "Ferris Bueller" (based on the movie, of course), before finally being asked to audition for the role of Monica on a pilot called "Friends Like These." Luckily, she refused in favour of playing Rachel Green, and luckily the producers shortened the name of the show to "Friends." Everything else, however, was just right.

Actress Jennifer Aniston is nominated for a 2004 Emmy for her role in the NBC comedy series Friends.

Actress Jennifer Aniston is nominated for 2003's Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series for her role in the NBC comedy series Friends.
