Judy Davis

2004 Emmy Nominated: Lead Actress, the reagans

Oddly, Judy Davis was forbidden by her parents from watching movies as a child, but she seems to have gotten past that! Born in Perth, Australia, Judy attended the National Institute of Dramatic Arts with Mel Gibson - they even played "Romeo and Juliet" together, and were both a part of the "Australian New Wave" movement in film. The film that brought her international fame, "My Brilliant Career," is also her least favourite: to this day, she refuses to watch it because of how miserable she was during the shooting.

Actress Judy Davis is nominated for her 2004 leading role in the TV movie "The Reagans".
