Lisa Kudrow

2006 Emmy Winner: Lead Actress in Comedy, The New Adventures Of Old Christmas

Julia Louis-Dreyfuss was born on January 13th, 1961. She is an Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award winning actress. Were it not for her huge success on NBC’s “Seinfeld,” her claim to fame would be likely through her family. Her paternal grandfather fought in French Resistance during World War 2, her mother is Judith Bowles and her father is French billionaire, Gerard Louis-Dreyfus. Finally, her cousin was the owner of Adidas from 1993 to 2001 and is now the owner of the French Football Club, Olympique de Marseille.

After “Seinfeld,” Julia attempted to continue her ratings success with “Watching Ellie” which was soon cancelled. After a brief recurring role on “Arrested Development,” she found success again with “The New Adventures of Old Christine.” She earned an Emmy Award in 2006 with the part.

She has been married to Brad Hall since 1987, and has two sons.
