Kathy Baker was born on June 8, 1950 in Midland, Texas. She is an American character actress and has appeared in numerous films and television shows including Edward Scissorhands, Picket Fences, The Cider House Rules and Cold Mountain. She has a upcoming project for the 2005 remake of All the King's Men.

Kathy Baker is nominated for her supporting role in the TNT movie "Door to Door".
