Kelsey
Grammer
2004 Emmy Nominated: Lead Actor, Frasier
Kelsey Grammer is the first actor in television history
to be nominated for Emmys on three different shows - as the same character!
Nominated twice for "Cheers," a guest role on "Wings,"
and eight times for "Frasier," he has also won two Golden Globes,
two American Comedy Awards and a People's Choice. All this is quite surprising
for a man who, despite obviously great talent, underwent several rounds
of treatment for substance and alcohol abuse, and whose father and sister
were both murdered on separate occasions, as well as having a brother
die in a shark attack. Despite tragedy, he has gone on to become one of
the most recognizable - and most highly-paid - sitcom actors in history.
Kelsey Grammer is nominated for his 2004 leading role in the NBC comedy
"Frasier".
