2004 Emmy Nominated: Supporting Actress, Sex and the City

Born in Boulder, Colorado, Kristin moved to Columbus, South Carolina with her father to attend university, but she had already long developed the acting bug. When she was 10 years old she was cast in a community theatre production of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," and she never looked back. After she graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey, she moved to New York to seek out her fortunes, appearing both in classical and contemporary theatre, as well as commercials. For a brief time she ran a yoga studio with a friend before joining the cast of "Melrose Place" as Brooke. She was written out of the show after only a season, however, because the viewers hated her character so much, which is impressive in itself. This year she joins her "Sex and the City" castmates Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon in Emmy nominations.

Kristin Davis is nominated for her 2004 supporting role in the HBO series "Sex and the City".
