Martin Short was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on March 26, 1950. He is an actor, writer, and producer best known for his comedy work, particularly on the TV programs SCTV and the NBC skit comedy show Saturday Night Live. Short has created many memorable and hilarious characters over the years, most notably Jiminy Glick and Ed Grimley.

Martin Short is nominated for his role in the Comedy Central series "Primetime Glick".
