Patricia Arquette was born on April 8, 1968 in Chicago. Her parents soon moved the family to a commune in Virginia, where her voice picked up a southern tinge. She got her start in movies in 1986 with "Pretty Smart" and gained serious attention for her work in "Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors." She has acted prolifically since then, doing one or two major films a year.
Patricia Arquette is nominated for 2005's Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series for her work as Allison Dubois in NBC's "Medium."
