"You can only put away so much stuff in your closet". -Paul Newman
Paul Newman was born on January 26, 1925 in Shaker Heights Ohio. He grew up acting in school productions, and attended theatre school after his discharge from the Navy. His first film, "The Silver Chalice" disappointed him so much that he took out a full page newspaper add to apologize for his performance. He went on to play many memorable roles in such films as "Somebody Up There Likes Me" and "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid." He won an Oscar the ninth time that he was nominated for his portrayal of a gambler in "The Color of Money." Newman himself is an active philanthropist, and has his own line of food products which donates all of its profits to charities.
