"It looks like a camera on a stick." -Terry O'Quinn when asked what the "monster" from "Lost" (2004) looks like.

Terry Quinn was born on July 15 1952 in Newberry Michigan. He was a boxing champ and a bodyguard in his twenties before he started acting. At about the same time, be started balding. He changed his last name to O'Quinn when he started acting to differentiated himself from another actor who was also named Terry Quinn. He has appeared in several TV series, including "The X-Files," "Star Trek," "Alias," and most recently lost.

Terry O'Quinn is nominated for 2005's Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series for his role as John Locke on ABC's "Lost."
