Zach Braff

2005 Emmy Nominated: Lead Actor, Scrubs

"Everyone has an idea that they think would be a great movie. Everyone has a cousin who they think you should work with. Everyone has a warped vision of Hollywood and what success in Hollywood is like. That you love cocaine and that you spend every night in orgies with models. If only it were true." -Zach Braff

Zach Braff was born April 6 1975 in South Orange New Jersey. His large extended and blended families are very supportive of his acting work. He attended Northwestern University. He wrote, directed, and acted in the critically acclaimed "Garden State." Currently, Zach works on "Scrubs" and is best friends with his co-star Donald Faison, who plays Turk on the series.

Braff is nominated for 2005's Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series for his work in the role of John "J.D." Dorian on NBC's "Scrubs."
